You did it – you decided to build a new home. Now, you’re at the crossroads of overjoyed and “what am I getting myself into?!” Fear not, because we’re here for you every step of the way. Before you get started, we’ve broken down the homebuilding experience, so you know exactly what to expect on your journey, from floor plan to keys in hand.

Building Your Home in Four Steps

Step 1: Visit a Community

First, you’ll meet with a sales counselor who will take you on a tour of a model home and help you pick a homesite, floor plan and exterior elevation. Your sales counselor will be your go-to resource for all your homebuilding questions, from neighborhood tips to structural options. They’ll also connect you with a loan expert to line up your financing.

Step 2: Design Studio

Next, you’ll head to our Design Studio, where you’ll get to check out all things design-related to make your home your own. A personal design consultant will work with you hand in hand, helping you choose everything from appliances and cabinets, to paint colors and counters, to flooring and light fixtures.

Step 3: Breaking Ground

Then the building begins, where you’ll see every detail come to life. Your construction superintendent will be in constant contact with you, providing updates every step of the way. And you can visit yourself when you want to check it out in person.

Step 4: Moving In

Before you know it, you’ll be moving in. But even after you’ve unpacked your boxes, we’ll still be there if you need us to answer any questions that might come up. And if something breaks, we’ll come back and fix it, thanks to our 10-year limited warranty. Because we know things might happen down the line, and we’ll be there for you.
