As part of KB Home’s ongoing partnership with the City of San Jose, data from the ten on site air monitors recorded three exceedance of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District guidelines during the week of December 7, 2020.
December 8: There was an exceedance noted on P10, which originated from blowers and brooms being used in buildings under construction. Once activity was spotted the work was ceased immediately.
December 9: There was an exceedance noted on P4, which was due to the use of HOA maintenance crews using blowers. Once activity was spotted the work was ceased immediately.
December 10: There was an exceedance noted on P10, which was the result of some earth work and vertical construction activities being performed upwind of the monitor P10. Adequate water was being used at the time.
