Communications Hill - San Jose, CA Update

As part of our weekly testing with the City of San Jose, data from the P3, P4 and P5 onsite air monitors recorded isolated exceedances of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) guidelines during the week of October 28, 2019. The exceedances occurred on October 29th and 30th and the following actions were taken:
October 29: P4 & P5 had exceedances as area fabric coverings were disturbed due to grading activities. We had the landscaper restore the cover fabric where necessary and directed our subcontractors to increase watering and include proper covering procedures by the end of the day. Additionally, crews were directed to utilize proper water application during continued street paving operations, hydroseeding and mulching applications.
October 30: P3, P4 & P5 had exceedances due to additional street sweeping, power washing, the re-location of a problematic waste dumpster, hydroseeding, mulching as well as HOA landscaping activities. Mitigating actions were taken and fiber count levels dropped below BAAQMD guidelines.
