As part of KB Home’s ongoing partnership with the City of San Jose, data from the ten on site air monitors recorded four exceedance of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District guidelines during the week of October 19, 2020.
October 20: There were exceedances noted on P9 and P10, which was the result of the protective ground fabric being installed to exposed soil.
October 21: There was an exceedances noted on P5, which due to offsite activities performed by others not related to KB Home.
October 22: There was an exceedance noted on P9, which was due to vertical construction activities taking place near the monitor. Work was stopped and increased water usage and additional ground fabric was added.
