As part of KB Home’s ongoing partnership with the City of San Jose, data from the ten on site air monitors recorded ten exceedances of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District guidelines during the week of June 7, 2021.
June 8: There were exceedances noted on P4, P6, P7 & P8, which were caused by contractors working upwind and PG&E utility trucks utilizing access roads, more water was added to alleviate the issue.
June 9: There were exceedances noted on P3, P6, P7 & P8, which was caused by contractors working upwind performing weed abatement and using access roads, more water was added to alleviate the issue.
June 10: There was an exceedance noted on P7, which was caused by contractors working upwind, more water was added to alleviate the issue.
June 11: There was an exceedance noted on P6, which the cause was utility contractors working upwind. All earthwork activities were ceased on 6/11 due to the high winds during the week resulting in three days of exceedances.
