Communications Hill - San Jose, CA Update

As part of KB Home’s ongoing partnership with the City of San Jose, data from the ten on site air monitors recorded four exceedances of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District guidelines during the week of February 7, 2022.

February 9: Fiber counts at air monitoring locations P3 and P4 exceeded Air Board Guidance. Dusty conditions and haul truck traffic at the entrance to the quarry appears to have caused the exceedance at P3. HOA landscapers were observed in the area P4.

February 10: Fiber counts at air monitoring location P9d exceeded Air Board Guidance. HOA landscapers were observed in the area P9d. A KB Home contractor was performing cleanup activities with a skid steer in the main yard. More water will be added.

February 11: Fiber counts at air monitoring location P8 exceeded Air Board Guidance. HOA landscapers were observed in the area P8.
