As part of KB Home’s ongoing partnership with the City of San Jose, data from the eleven on site air monitors recorded four exceedances of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District guidelines during the week of May 4, 2026.
May 4: An exceedance occurred at station 4, likely due to the utility installation trenching operations that occurred upwind of and near the station. Contractors were made aware of the exceedance and water efforts were increased throughout the site.
May 5: An exceedance occurred at station 10, likely due to grading operations that occurred upwind of and near the station. Contractors were made aware of the exceedance and water efforts were increased throughout the site.
May 6: An exceedance occurred at station 10, likely due to grading operations that occurred upwind of and near the station. Contractors were made aware of the exceedance and slower work practices were implemented, as well as an increase in water trucks in the area near this station.
