As part of KB Home’s ongoing partnership with the City of San Jose, data from the eleven on site air monitors recorded three exceedances of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District guidelines during the week of April 13, 2026.

 

April 16: An exceedance occurred at station 10, likely due to grading and excavation operations that occurred upwind of and near this station. Contractors were made aware of the exceedance and water efforts were increased throughout the site.

 

April 17: Exceedances occurred at stations 4 and 10, likely due to grading and excavation operations that occurred upwind of and near these stations. Contractors were made aware of the exceedances and slower work practices, and increased water efforts were implemented throughout the site.
