As part of KB Home’s ongoing partnership with the City of San Jose, data from the eleven on site air monitors recorded three exceedances of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District guidelines during the week of March 9, 2026.
March 12: Exceedances occurred at station 5, 10 and 11, likely due to grading activities near and upwind of the station 5 and winds over disturbed hillsides near stations 10 and 11. Contractors were made aware of the exceedances and water efforts were increased around the earth moving activities.
