As part of KB Home’s ongoing partnership with the City of San Jose, data from the thirteen on site air monitors recorded two exceedances of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District guidelines during the week of September 23, 2024.
September 25: An exceedance occurred at station 8 due to high traffic and grading activities. KB Home contractors were grading in the vicinity and upwind of this station. Additional water and hydro seeding was added in the specific area of concern and throughout the site.
September 27: An exceedance occurred at station 12 due to heavy Hillsdale Road traffic. A water truck and street sweeper have been dedicated to this area to focus on adding additional water and street sweeping.
