As part of KB Home’s ongoing partnership with the City of San Jose, data from the eleven on site air monitors recorded three exceedances of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District guidelines during the week of September 8, 2025.

 

September 8: An exceedance occurred at station 4, likely due to grading operations occurring near and upwind of this station. Grading contractors were made aware of the exceedance and additional water as added and slower work practices were initiated around the grading operations on the disturbed hillsides.

 

September 10: An exceedance occurred at station 5, likely due to grading operations occurring near and upwind of this station. Grading contractors were made aware of the exceedance and additional water was added around grading operations on the disturbed hillsides.

 

September 11: An exceedance occurred at station 5, likely due to grading operations and high traffic occurring near and upwind of this station. Grading contractors were made aware of the exceedance and additional water was added around grading operations on the disturbed hillsides and roads.
