As part of KB Home’s ongoing partnership with the City of San Jose, data from the eleven on site air monitors recorded eight exceedances of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District guidelines during the week of June 16, 2025.
June 16 : An exceedance occurred at stations 3 and 6, likely due to grading operations occurring upwind of and near these stations. All contractors were made aware of the exceedances and additional water trucks were added throughout these areas with water additives.
June 17: An exceedance occurred at stations 4 and 5, likely due to grading operations occurring near and upwind of this station. Grading and dust control contractors were made aware of the exceedances and additional water was added around the grading operations and on the disturbed hillsides.
June 19: An exceedance occurred at stations 3 and 4, due to grading operations occurring near and upwind of this station. Grading and dust control contractors were made aware of the exceedances and additional water was added around the grading operations on the disturbed hillsides.
June 20: An exceedance occurred at stations 3 and 4, due to grading operations occurring near and upwind of this station. Grading and dust control contractors were made aware of the exceedance and additional water was added around the grading operations on the disturbed hillsides.
