As part of KB Home’s ongoing partnership with the City of San Jose, data from the eleven on site air monitors recorded five exceedances of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District guidelines during the week of May 5, 2025.
May 5: An exceedance occurred at stations 5, likely due to traffic and utility operations occurring upwind of this station. Utility contractors were made aware of the exceedance and additional water was added and slower work practices were implemented throughout the site and around operations.
May 7: An exceedance occurred at station 5 and at station 11, likely due to traffic and grading operations occurring near and upwind of these stations. Dust control and grading contractors were made aware of the exceedances and additional water was added throughout the site and and around grading operations. Access points to difficult to reach areas will be added.
May 9: An exceedance occurred at station 2 and at station 5, likely due to grading operations occurring near and upwind of these stations. Grading contractors were made aware of the exceedances and additional water was added throughout the site and around grading operations.
