As part of KB Home’s ongoing partnership with the City of San Jose, data from the eleven on site air monitors recorded four exceedances of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District guidelines during the week of March 10, 2025.

 

March 10: Exceedances occurred at stations 10 and 11 likely due to traffic and grading operations occurring near and upwind of these stations. Grading contractors were made aware of the exceedances and additional water was added throughout the site and around grading operations.

 

March 11: Exceedances occurred at stations 10 and 11 likely due to traffic and grading operations occurring near and upwind of these stations. Grading contractors were made aware of the exceedances and additional water was added throughout the site and around grading.

 

Due to the exceedances on consecutive days in these locations on Wednesday March 12, 2025, grading operations were suspended, and water was increased throughout the site. Where possible, the disturbed areas were also covered with plastic.
