KB Home is partnering with Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors – along with our trade partners – to build a brand-new, energy-efficient and mortgage-free home for a deserving U.S. Army veteran.
About the Family
Army Staff Sargeant Dan Rose was injured during a roadside attack while serving in Afghanistan in 2011. Injuries sustained from the blast broke his pelvis and multiple vertebrae, leaving him completely paralyzed from the chest down. Daniel currently lives with his wife Lisa and their newborn daughter, Hailey in Denver, Colorado. Their current residence is not wheelchair accessible, and they would love to live in a home where they move around easily and not worry about stairs or other obstacles to get around.
About The Foundation
JAH4WW’s mission is to build and remodel injury-specific, accessible, and mortgage-free homes for our critically injured United States Military Veterans returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan. The current project in Colorado is KB Home’s third home they are building in partnership with JAH4WW.
