Welcome to St. Cloud

Settled along the southern shore of East Lake Tohopekaliga in Central Florida, St. Cloud is less than 30 miles from its famous neighbor, Orlando. The city's motto is "Celebrating Small Town Life" and you'll find lots of reasons to rejoice here. Enjoy a gorgeous day by the lakefront, or an afternoon putting the 27 holes at the Royal St. Cloud Golf Links. Local highlights include:

  • The Lakefront Park & Dan Tarrell Memorial Point. The amenities here are endless: a 143 boat-slip marina, bike path, picnic pavilions, fishing pier, playground, splash pad, volleyball court, sand beach, and yes, lots more! The Memorial Point offers a beautiful place to take in the views, and there are 12 boat tie outs so you can even arrive by water.
  • The St. Cloud Heritage Museum and the Veterans Memorial Library. The museum is located within the library and is a designated Florida Heritage Site. Venture inside and explore the early history of the city through documents and exhibits, including local newspapers dating back to 1911, and artifacts from veterans.
  • St. Cloud Main Street. The city’s historic downtown district includes such notable landmarks as the 1927 Hunter Arms Hotel, and plays host to a number of seasonal celebrations.

And since spelling does count in life (sometimes), the city's official name is "St. Cloud" rather than "Saint Cloud."
