District Job Fairs!

The Laveen Elementary School District No. 59 is having two job fairs, one being Thursday, June 26, 2008 from 3:30-6:30 PM and the other will be on Thursday, July 17, 2008 from 3:30-6:30 PM as well. There are many positions that need to be filled in the fastest growing district in the state! Please read this brochure for more information and directions. Thank you.

The 2008 Scholarship winners have been announced, and the winners are Gerson Garcia and Miguel Garcia. Each student received a $1,000 scholarship. Forgotten Classics Cruise Night Saturday Nights at Sonic

If you haven't heard, there is a weekly cruise night for classic cars and bikes at the Sonic Drive-in at 7745 S. 51st Ave. (on the southeast corner of 51st Ave. and Baseline Rd.) from 6:30-9:30 PM every Saturday until September. Bring your family and make a night of it! You can read a review of the event here.
