October 7th 2008—Fans interested in getting together to watch the Tampa Bay Rays play the Boston Red Sox in the American League Championship Series (ALCS) will want to head to Tyler's Taproom on the American Tobacco Campus in Durham. During each Rays-Red Sox playoff game, anyone wearing Durham Bulls or Rays gear will receive half-priced appetizers. The Rays and Red Sox will face each other in Game One of the ALCS on Friday night, October 10th at 8:30 PM from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL.
October 3rd 2008—The AL East has done it again. After the Rays beat the White Sox in Game Four to punch their ticket for the American League Championship Series, the Boston Red Sox vanquished the Los Angeles Angels to set up the rivalry match.

September 16th 2008—The Durham Bulls today released the 2009 schedule for both the Bulls full schedule and USA Baseball's schedule at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The Bulls will open the 2009 season at home against the Norfolk Tides on Thursday, April 9th at 7:05 PM.
