what is a chamber of commerce? The McKinney Chamber
of Commerce, in existence for 93 years, is a membership-based organization
that advocates for, and works with, our member businesses.
We are approximately 1000 members strong, representing businesses
of all sizes.
what does a chamber of commerce do? The Chamber improves
our community by:
- creating
jobs
- implementing
beautification programs
- improving
education
- lobbying
local, regional and state government on behalf of our member businesses
- supporting
new and existing businesses through our Award-winning BREP Program
- campaigning
for improved streets and highways
- stimulating
economic industrial, commercial and agricultural growth
- promoting
quality of life for the entire community
Through the
guidance of outstanding business leaders, there is a hundred-year
history of accomplishment in McKinney that is the result of the
support and involvement of the Chamber of Commerce.

about the McKinney chamber of commerce: The
McKinney Chamber of Commerce is operated by a Board of Directors;
an Executive Board, various Committees and a permanent staff of
eleven. We publish a monthly newsletter, McKinney Business Focus;
a bi-monthly magazine, McKinney Living; an annual Relocation
Guide; as well as area maps and Visitor Guides. We are a not-for-profit
501(c)6 organization. We are located in McKinney at 1650 West Virginia
